July 2009 "Hot Button" Survey Results
What animal, plant or inanimate object best represents your favorite Product Development colleague?
Here are the five responses that grabbed our imaginations, and our attempts at unveiling their subconscious meanings.
1. Lemur. Small, nimble primate. The term "lemur" is derived from the Latin word for "spirit of the night."
2. Owl. Solitary, nocturnal predator. Owls are symbols of wisdom and prosperity.
3. Horse. Beast of burden. In the Chinese Zodiac the Horse symbolizes strength, energy, and an outgoing nature. Horses thrive when they're the center of attention.
4. Grasshopper. Winged, but flightless, insects that should be eaten with caution. The term conjures memories of the Shaolin monk, Kwai Chang Caine, whose Wild West adventures are chronicled in the TV series, "Kung Fu."
5. The most interesting response is also the most vague: a computer creature. Would that be a bug?
